Earth Map Connections for Premiere Pro is a motion graphics template (MOGRT) that allows you to create a very useful “travel transition”!
Sometimes you need to show different places in the World that are related to each other, for example you could show the various branches of a company, show the route of your latest voyage or if you have a travel agency, show the itinerary of the cruise to your customers…
Earth Map Connections for Premiere Pro is exactly what you need:
import the footage of the first city and introduce the second one with a stylish map animation that connects these two locations.
The great feature of this template is that you don’t have to go crazy to add, move, remove or set keyframes: all moving elements of the animation including the camera, are automated and controlled by expressions, so you can easily finalize your animations in a couple of minutes.

It’s very simple:
Just move the start and end points on the map and type the texts on the first and second callout.
The animation could already be complete, but of course the template includes many customization options.
For example, you can decide whether to use a satellite or vector map with or without border lines.
Feel free to personalize the callouts according to your own taste:
Change the title and subtitle position, adjust their scale, include them into a sharp or rounded box, set the box size and distance from the map.
Earth Map Connections for Premiere Pro is not a “prepackaged” animation!
Of course you can decide the duration of each camera movement, so for example if you want to stop on the second point for 5 seconds or create a very slow travel between the two points, you can do it:
just set the time on the corresponding sliders and the expressions will do the rest.
Obviously you can also change the appearance of the connection line: change its thickness and height and convert it from solid to dash.
Let’s assume you’re creating a video for a company, but they only accepts animations with their corporate colors. No problem, with Earth Map Connection for Premiere you can change the color of each element!
Thanks to the MOGRT structure, you are free to duplicate your animation between two points for unlimited times, creating a path with how many stops you want.
Please note: this template allows you to create 1 single connection line between 2 points so it is not possible to create branch lines or simultaneously show more than two points on the map.
